“Max is 8 years old and autistic. He is working at YR/Y1 level. Despite his 1-1 support in school Max struggled to read and write. At home we started on the Read Write Inc. pathway and Max learnt Set 1 sounds and blending, and some Set 2 sounds, before lockdown.
