Meet “Billy”, an adult Verreaux’s (Giant) Eagle Owl that presented to Harnas in July with suspected rodenticide poisoning. A very vigilant farmer noticed a lethargic owl at his waterhole during the day, and when they could catch him without him putting up a fight, they knew something was wrong and they contacted Harnas.
