Quantum computers use Shor’s algorithm to break the public-key encryption (RSA) that protects your web browsing. For everything else, like AES-256 or Bitcoin’s SHA-256, they use Grover’s algorithm, which only makes the search faster rather than breaking the math entirely. https://lnkd.in/grBnAyC9
