I hate most icons and such, I'm the type who unchecks "show desktop icons". The sound control in the taskbar is pissin me off, and I don't know how to get it off.

on my notebook i have a wifi card and nic in it. i mainly use wifi but occasionally use wired. i don't like how the unplugged icon is always sitting on my taskbar in the corner when one is not in use.
